the AG's website ?

Open Internet Explorer.
To open Internet Explorer, double click icon on the desktop. In
the Address box, you type: http://www.agasm.cag.gov.in
as shown below and then press ENTER.
Home page would appear as under . You may select link Accounts under
Member Zone for all kind of information available for both State
Govt. employees of Assam and All India Service Officers of Assam and Meghalaya
cadre.

A new screen would appear as below. If you are first time user then select New
Registration or you can select General Provident Fund (GPF). Please note that
other link in this page are disabled in this phase and would be made available
in future.

How to register ?
After having selected New Registration, a screen would appear as shown below.
Enter relevant data in the space provided for each and then press Register.
E-mail address is optional one which would facilitate prompt correspondence as
and when required while all other fields are mandatory. Further, if either of
Date of Birth and Date of Joining is not correct the system will not accept
your registration.
If your date of birth is 11.11.1911 reflected in last PF
statement, it indicates that your date of birth is not available in the system
and in the event of which you may send us a copy of Age proof certificate duly
countersigned by respective DDO by post so that we could update the date
of birth in the database which would enable you to register subsequently.
Alternately, you may send us the following details through e-mail for the
purpose of authentication in which case we would assign you a password so as to
enable you to login for the first time and send you by e-mail. Further, in such
a case, you will be able to change your password so assigned to you.

1. Current DDO under which salary bill is being drawn, 2) Name of
Gurdian(Husband/father), 3)Designation at the time of allotment of PF account
number.
The above method of authentication was adopted for security reason since other
options like PIN mailer etc. which would involve a marathon task to communicate
to huge population of GPF/AISPF subscribers was not feasible in this phase. The
possibility of any other method of authentication in future, if need be, is not
ruled out.
